HAPPY BIRTHDAY HYTILE 1965-2005
1965 WAS THE YEAR THAT . . .
Essendon defeated St. Kilda in the 69th VFL Premiership.
Light Fingers won the Melbourne Cup.
Margaret Court won the Australian and U.S. Opens and Wimbledon.
Roy Emerson won the Australian Golf Open. Sir Robert Menzies was the Australian Prime Minister.
Films ‘Gold Finger’ and ‘Mary Poppins’ were produced.
‘The Sound of Music’ won the ‘Best Picture’ Academy Award.
Tom Jones sang ‘What’s New Pussycat?.’ Petula Clarke sang ‘Downtown.’
Sonny & Cher sang ‘I Got You Babe.’ The Rolling Stones sang ‘Satisfaction.’
Winston Churchill & Nat King Cole died.
Hogan’s Heroes’, ‘I Dream of Jeannie’, ‘Days of our Lives’ and ‘Lost In Space’ all started on television.
Jack Guthrie began production on the first Hytile Hoist.
Question: What two things do Hytile and The Rolling Stones have in common?
- Satisfaction has been a large part of both of their appeal – the Stones sing about it, and Hytile provide their many customers with it!
- They’re both still going strong after 40 years.
Celebrate with us!
To celebrate our 40th birthday Hytile is giving away 40 slabs of beer.
A draw will take place each month from April till the end of the year and 4 lucky customers who have purchased Hytile goods during the month will receive a slab. Eight slabs will be given away in December.
One of the reasons we’ve been around for 40 years is because we care what you think about our equipment.
Over the years we have sought out feedback from the men who are out there on the roofs using Hytile products day after day. By listening to you we have been able to make equipment for you that does the job you want it to do.
Enclosed along with this newsletter is a questionnaire. Would appreciate it if you would take this opportunity to answer our questions.
We value your input and would love to hear about what works for you, what doesn’t and your likes and dislikes about our equipment and service.
On receipt of your completed questionnaire we will send you a “Hytile 40th Birthday”T-shirt.
So please tell us what we can do to help your business prosper during the next 40 years!
